The Tempus Public Foundation – project leader of CroCooS project – held the Final Conference of CroCooS on 19-21 April 2017.
The three-days high-level conference focused both on reflections and policy recommendation of the project and also the piloting phase with full of schools’ stories and best practices which will be delivered by the pilot actors – mentors, schools and teachers. The general aim of the CroCooS project (Cross-sectoral cooperation focused solutions for preventing early school leaving) was to contribute to the specification and to the applicability of a comprehensive early warning system in the European countries.
The Final Conference of CroCooS was a multi-national high-level conference with participants from the policy and research level with early school leaving (ESL) experts arriving from around Europe and also the practical level with schools and pilot supporting staff.

The CroCooS – Cross-sectoral cooperation focused solutions for preventing early school leaving – focuses on the prevention and early intervention levels of reducing early school leaving (ESL) with special focus on early warning systems (EWS). The general aim of the CroCooS project is to contribute to the specification and to the applicability of a comprehensive institutional early warning system for preventing early school leaving.

CroCooS - Prevent dropout! project is implemented in the framework of the EC proposal “Implementation of the European strategic objectives in education and training” (EACEA/04/13) under the Lifelong Learning Programme which target is to support innovative policy solutions to reduce and prevent early leaving from education and training (ELET).
